An exciting blend of Arabic and Indian music with electronics, funk & a touch of the avant-garde
Four virtuoso musicians meet in PanAram each bringing worlds of experience to create a unique music: rhythmic and driving and filled with exotic sounds. PanAram features multi-instrumentalist Zafer Tawil on oud, violin, qanun, and percussion; Deep Singh on tabla and electornics; Melvin Gibbs on bass & electronics; and Elliott Sharp on guitar, saxophone, and electronics. Clockwork Mercury, a.k.a Eric Mingus and Catherine Sikora will open for Pan Aram taking you on an expedition to where music and poetry become one and the same thing: Sonic expressionism in its purest form.
